Lloyd James Group announced today that marbles & Beneficial credit cards have appointed it as manager of their credit card statement mailing inserts.

The marbles brand was acquired from HSBC by SAV Credit in October 2007. Only available to UK residents, the credit cards are available for credit seekers aged 21 years and above. Market research indicates that a large proportion of customers are homeowners who are married or cohabiting. 55% of customers are also aged between 30 and 45, internet and computer literate, like to transact online and purchase a variety of products (including white goods, holidays, wine and other financial services).

Lynn Stevens, Managing Director of Lloyd James Group said: “This is an excellent opportunity to target an active, affluent group of high value customers. With a monthly mailing volume of 150,000, the marbles and Beneficial credit card statement inserts provide an ideal opportunity for 3rd party advertising investment and we are delighted at being entrusted with the managing of the programme.”

“In the current direct marketing climate, it is necessary to find additional methods to compellingly target consumers. Statement mailing inserts provide a high impact advertising opportunity, effectively penetrating and attracting valuable but difficult to reach customers.”

Lloyd James Group has had a spate of commercial wins this year, adding the marbles & Beneficial appointment to an ever-expanding list and media management portfolio which includes Homebase Spend & Save, Debenhams, Bauer Media and HBoS.
