When Someone Unsubscribes to Your Email

Habitually on the receiving end of more press releases than I care about, such as what Presswire sent me today, I followed their directions at the bottom of the email message to unsubscribe.

To unsubscribe from receiving Presswire Press Releases, please reply to this email with UNSUBSCRIBE as the Subject.

But when I replied and wrote in that word where indicated, I promptly received the following automatically-generated message:

This message was created automatically by mail delivery software.

A message that you sent could not be delivered to one or more of its
recipients. This is a permanent error. The following address(es) failed:

[email protected]
mailbox is full: retry timeout exceeded

Oops.

I wonder how many other people received the bounced email.
