SANTA CLARA, Calif. — July 30, 2007 — Market2Lead, a provider of software-as-a-service (SaaS) B2B automated marketing solutions that accelerate demand and revenue growth, announced today that marketers can now generate accurate return on investment (ROI) data for marketing campaigns, regardless of the actions of sales representatives. Market2Lead has become the first marketing automation solution to provide automatic opportunity stage tracking by mining contact marketing activities.

Opportunity tracking is a new feature in the Summer 2007 release of Market2Lead on-demand marketing automation software. Market2Lead is not aware of any other marketing automation system that provides it. The Market2Lead opportunity tracking function uses rules configured by marketers to first choose contact records to associate with an opportunity. The function then looks at the activities of those contacts and the programs in which the contacts participated and uses marketer-configured rules to assign the opportunity to a specific marketing program. Marketers are then able to create reports that indicate the dollar values of opportunities created by each program. The entire process requires no action on the part of sales representatives.

Market2Lead’s Summer 2007 release also includes many other new features, including greater control over how data from campaigns is stored in sales force automation systems.
