Hotel Chain of the Year invests in highly scalable and secure web platform, and new integrated booking system to ensure seamless user experience

Maidenhead, UK, 1st September 2009 – SDL Tridion, leader in global Web Content Management (WCM), and part of SDL, leader in Global Information Management (GIM), today announces that Warner Leisure Hotels has used its platform as a base to enhance its website’s functionality. The award-winning hotel group chose the highly scalable platform for its ease of use and blueprinting technology. The solution allows the marketing team to change and adapt content quickly, without needing to invest time in the site’s layout and design.

Warner Leisure Hotels has seen a huge increase in team productivity, brought about by the simple and logical, yet powerful back-end interface into Tridion. The team has experienced quick-to-launch production times, enabling marketing to react quickly to changing market conditions and offer promotions in response to availability at individual hotels. Multiple websites can also be managed easily within the SDL Tridion platform.

The website’s stability has benefited hugely from the integration; Tridion offers a scalable and robust system able to grow with Warner Leisure Hotels. Its sister company, Haven Holidays, has used SDL Tridion as its website platform for four years with the minimum of technical fuss.

In addition to building the website, SDL Tridion’s implementation partner – Building Blocks – worked on the development of the integrated booking engine ensuring a seamless user experience to the site visitor.
