Virgin Atlantic park benchImagine sitting on a park bench minding your own business when suddenly you’re offered a glass of champagne, then a light lunch… and then a movie or a show! Well, that’s what happened to some people in New York last week!!!!

Some lucky individuals were treated to some Upper Class customer service from Virgin Atlantic cabin crew in a little stunt to publicise their offer.

If being offered champagne and a menu to choose their cooked lunch and selection of desserts wasn’t enough, the ‘in flight entertainment’ certainly was Dramatically and Demonstrably Different!

By selecting whether they wanted to watch a movie, a show or play a video game, the whole thing was brought to life by ‘real’ actors, orchestras and dancers right there in front of them as they sat on the bench!

From the woman who chose the romantic film option seeing actors dressed in period costumes, including one on horseback, come swooping into view, to the guy who watched the action movie, through to the man who chose a video game and found that each time he pressed a button a swirl of dancers dressed in white were shot at with tennis balls, it certainly created a talking point!

They combined this with Richard Branson himself tweeting… “Is this the world’s best bench?” The result was, not surprisingly, a nicely co-ordinated ‘hit’!
