Michael Soloman, D.C. specializes in network chiropractic in Phoenix, Arizona. While at home one day last year, he answered a knock on the door. It was a Fox 10 news reporter asking if he would be willing to share his thoughts about property tax increases in his neighborhood. He obliged and had fun helping the reporter out with her story.

Since he has been through the Fear-Free Prospecting and Self-Promotion Workshop, he contacted the reporter and suggested an interesting story about a new technique to relieve back pain. The reporter was open and they went back and forth. After a few weeks, she relayed that her producer didn’t think the story was relevant. For most people that would be the end of the story! Not for Dr. Soloman.

He knows how important credible self-promotion is to his career. He appropriately kept in touch. Guess what? On December 13, 2010 news cameras came to his office. Dr. Soloman was featured in a five-minute evening news spot. See the link below!

The highest rewards do not go to the most intelligent, the best prepared or the hardest working. The rewards go to the people who are most willing to self-promote.
