Move over spanair, miracles happen courtesy of westjet

Lagniappe is creole (french and spanish) for ‘the gift’ or la napa.  Two years ago Spanair did something truly special in the spirit of lagniappe for its passengers flying on Christmas Eve.  They make a pinpoint landing at #681 in the Purple Goldfish Project from a tweet by @Michelle_i2i:

Canadian low-cost carrier WestJet took this “surprise and delight” to the next level this year. Thanks to my friend Jay Silva at Synergy Events for sharing. Here is the YouTube video from WestJet chronicling four months of prep and the efforts of 150 volunteers:
