Konica Minolta Deploys Callidus On-Demand Solution for Sales Performance Management

Leading Manufacturer of Advanced Imaging and Networking Technologies Transitions to On-Demand Platform

Ramsey, N.J. and San Jose, Calif – April 10, 2008 — Callidus Software Inc. (NASDAQ: CALD), the leader in Sales Performance Management (SPM), today announced that Konica Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A., Inc. (Konica Minolta – www.kmbs.konicaminolta.us), a leader in advanced imaging and networking technologies for the desktop to the print shop, has gone live with Callidus On-Demand to manage its sales performance and incentive compensation management programs. A customer of Callidus on-premise solutions since 2000, Konica Minolta chose to convert to the On-Demand platform for its ease of implementation, parallel-processing capabilities and predictable spend model. After a short conversion time of 100 days, Konica Minolta has been using Callidus’ On-Demand services for its approximately 2,500 sales representatives in North America since February of 2008.

In transitioning its Callidus on-premise solutions to Callidus On-Demand, Konica Minolta will be able to realize a number of added benefits in its overall ability to process compensation. As a Callidus On-Demand customer, Konica Minolta is using the modules of TrueComp® Manager, Callidus TrueAnalyticsTM and TrueInformation® to process its sales compensation. The company is also working to fully integrate its SAP applications with Callidus in order to streamline its ability to effectively process more data. Since Callidus has an ongoing partnership with SAP, it allows Konica Minolta to easily link its sales performance management into its wider information systems – delivering a total solution that is flexible, scalable and dynamic.
