Places 17th in the Fast 50; 169th in Fast 500 EMEA

WALTHAM, Mass., December 10, 2007—Ipanema Technologies, a leader in application traffic management systems for wide area networks (WANs), today announced it has been recognized in the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 for France and the Fast 500 for EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa).

Now in its seventh year, Deloitte Technology’s Fast 50 France and Fast 500 EMEA recognize technology companies that have achieved the fastest annual revenue growth in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. The Deloitte Technology Fast 50 award has become a benchmark in identifying the fastest-growing high-technology companies in France through an objective ranking based on sustained revenue growth during the past five years. The same objective ranking is used for the Fast 500 EMEA, which covers Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Ipanema Technologies placed 17th in the Fast 50, with 1086.69 % in cumulated growth over five years and turnover in 2006 at 9,007 million Euros. Ipanema secured 9th place in the ‘Telecom & Services Online’ sector.

Ipanema Technologies placed 169th in Deloitte Technology’s Fast 500 EMEA.
The Fast 500 EMEA award was revealed last week in London, with the United Kingdom having the most ranked companies at 91 out of 500, closely followed by France with 68.

Jean-Yves Leclerc, CEO, Ipanema Technologies commented “Being part of Deloitte Technology’s Fast 50 France and Fast 500 EMEA shows real market recognition, especially when there are so many competitors. Receiving these awards also show that our strategy is the right one and helps push us towards our international growth goals. We are proud to be one of the top 50 growing technology companies in France.”

Now present in more than 40 countries and regions across the world, the ranking of established and emerging high-growth companies in the region is a tribute to those that continue to thrive—even during times of economic slowdown. While the stock market may be more volatile and investors more cautious, it is companies such as these that will be key forces behind economic growth in Europe for years to come. The award winners increase their international visibility, as well as credibility with the investment community.
