Boston, MA. – January 28, 2008

Independent IT Analyst Inc. is now offering a new service designed to democratize the technology buying process. Until now the purchasers of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) technology have not been able to obtain objective information to assist them in the vendor selection process. This new service provides objective information directly from actual users of various CRM systems. The report contains specific information such as vendor implementation success/failure rates, return on investment, greatest customer satisfaction and best CRM user interface is now made available for evaluation.

Typically the selection process is skewed in favor of the technology vendor. Product demonstrations usually highlight the product’s strengths and mask weaknesses. Customer references are not always reliable since they may be receiving some form of compensation from their vendor. Technology vendors pay analyst firms to write supposedly “objective” white papers. It becomes nearly impossible to tell fact from fiction.

Independentitanalyst.com provides valuable independent CRM analysis based on thousands of user surveys and also provides CRM references to assist CRM buyers in making independent, unbiased purchasing decisions.

Additionally, a white paper, available in Q2 2008, will be based on surveys and interviews with key executives and users of the actual products themselves.

“There is too much hype out in the marketplace today and our goal is to help technology buyers make the most informed decision possible without the influence of the technology vendor,” says James Fahey, Founder and CEO of Independent IT Analyst, Inc.
