Denver, Colo. (Sept 2, 2009) – The Holding Company for Water and Wastewater (HCWW) of Egypt has awarded a contract to meet their comprehensive customer care and billing requirements to Giza Systems and Prophecy International. The initial phase is already underway for just over 2.5 million accounts, with the overall goal of bringing over 10 million accounts on line over time.

“This is one of the most significant billing projects to be implemented around the world,” said Dr. Abdelkawi, the Chairman for the HCWW. “Our selection process was very thorough and a detailed competitive review of local and global billing solutions was performed. Prophecy International’s basis2 was chosen for its Oracle end-to-end technical and applications architecture, its functional comprehensiveness and its flexibility to meet the variety of requirements we have across our 25 companies now and in the future. We are very pleased with our selection.”
