Blueview expands with acquisition of live events specialist LA Promotions

Blueview Group (, the multi-discipline customer management agency, has strengthened its live offering and boosted its ability to reach consumers and businesses through a range of channels with the acquisition of LA Promotions, an experiential, live events and staffing agency. Blueview, which launched earlier this year, offers integrated customer management at every touchpoint, including customer analysis and insight, strategy development, multi-channel CRM and marketing communications, campaign management and closed-loop programme lead generation.

The acquisition of LA Promotions broadens Blueview’s capabilities further to enable it to better integrate live events and experiential marketing initiatives into the range of contact points it can offer clients in dealing with their customers. The company’s blueprint is to provide organisations with true choice over exactly which areas and elements of their customer management they outsource. The organisation takes a joined-up approach, building bespoke solutions around each customer’s specific needs.

LA Promotions is a leading provider of staff in the UK for promotions, events and corporate hospitality. It operates a database of over 2,500 event staff across the country. The agency brings 10 years of experience in creating, organising and providing staff for events in the PR and advertising, food and drink, and automotive sectors. With this acquisition, Blueview has boosted LA’s capacity to deliver much wider and more integrated solutions by bringing live events and experiential activity together with existing marketing and sales offerings such as mail campaigns, call centre activity and digital initiatives.

Lisa Fretwell, who is heading up Blueview’s live division, comments: “The web is now increasingly being used to support event campaigns through online competitions, special attendee content, and posting video clips and event photos. LA Promotions can now, as Blueview’s live arm, plan, create and implement all of these digital aspects of a client’s campaign.

“We will be specifically looking to ensure we explore some of the integrated solutions that we can now offer. For example, using event solutions as an ‘activation mechanism’ for companies that wish to exploit their social networking platform.”
