CINCINNATI (July 29, 2014) – The Home Depot, AMC Theatres, Vodafone Turkey and Duffy’s Sports Grill received COLLOQUY Recognizes awards, a program that honors the companies, programs and initiatives that exemplify the most innovative advancements and forward-thinking strategies in loyalty marketing. The winners were announced in the July COLLOQUY issue published today.

In 2014, the bimonthly COLLOQUY Recognizes awards replaced the annual COLLOQUY Loyalty Awards. Each issue of COLLOQUY magazine highlights loyalty programs and initiatives that best exemplify the most forward-looking strategies in loyalty today. Winners receive a commemorative award, along with recognition on the website and at the annual COLLOQUY Loyalty Summit.

With more than 300,000 members, The Home Depot’s Pro Xtra Loyalty program provides small- to medium-sized building professionals with exclusive business tools such as a digital receipt archive and the Pro App and Estimator to place orders directly from smart devices or computers. As a result, the number of transactions with this segment has dramatically increased along with the average amount per sale.

COLLOQUY Recognizes AMC Theatres for Program Relaunch
After 19 years, AMC Theatres’ established loyalty program needed an overhaul. The new program, AMC Stubs, offers an enhanced rewards structure with more valuable, flexible and compelling benefits that recognize every dollar guests spend at the theater. Members attend more movies and spend more money than non-members, accounting for 20% to 25% of AMC’s total sales.

COLLOQUY Recognizes Vodafone Turkey for Mobile International Loyalty
The competitive telecommunications market in Turkey resulted in a high rate of churn as customers continually changed providers. To reduce turnover and increase customer loyalty and satisfaction, Vodafone Turkey implemented a customer relationship structure including an enhanced customer segmentation model, a team of dedicated service agents for corporate customers and expanded dealer support. Vodafone Turkey improved overall churn by 17% for 2013, the best results among all Vodafone countries, and set the stage for sustainable loyalty management.

COLLOQUY Recognizes Duffy’s Sports Grill for Restaurant Program Expansion
The Duffy’s Sport Grill MVP loyalty program features more than 400,000 active members who generate more than 70% of the restaurant’s transactions. To deepen the channels of communication and provide more value for members, Duffy’s added digital capabilities such as a mobile app. As a result, the percent of total sales from MVP grew from 67% in 2010 to 73% today, while total membership increased 4% from the previous year for this mature program.

Companies can nominate themselves for a COLLOQUY Recognizes award by visiting and completing a short questionnaire. Winners are chosen bi-monthly by the COLLOQUY Editorial Team and receive recognition in COLLOQUY magazine and at the annual COLLOQUY Loyalty Summit, being held Sept. 29 – Oct. 1, 2014 in Scottsdale, Arizona.
