Orlando, Fla. – May 14, 2007 – Sage Software today announced the tenth anniversary edition of Sage SalesLogix (v7.2) during the company’s Insights 2007 business partner conference. Sage SalesLogix v7.2 introduces a modernized architecture supporting Web, Mobile and Windows® interfaces that increases user productivity through a choice of flexible access methods to centralized and secure customer data. A new Web client enhances usability and reduces IT resource requirements and administration costs. Expanded capabilities for the optional Sage SalesLogix Mobile (v5) solution add data charting for BlackBerry® devices, and support for Windows® Mobile and Smartphone devices. Sage SalesLogix v7.2 also features a common Web and Mobile customization environment, allowing rapid application deployment for one or many users.

Enhanced User Experience

Sage SalesLogix v7.2 users can experience Web client functionality that is typically only found in Windows applications, including drag-and-drop tabs, middle pane navigation, minimal screen refresh, and context-sensitive help. New icons and screen layouts as well as enhancements including one-click information access and Google-style search results help users obtain the data they need quickly, and aid user adoption.

New Web And Mobile Customization Environment

The new Sage SalesLogix Web and Mobile customization tool offers a true end-to-end, drag-and-drop development environment including codeless and coded customizations to simplify and accelerate application deployment. Most customizations can be made using a codeless, wizard and template-based approach, without requiring extensive Web and programming knowledge. Previously developed customizations can also be shared.

Mobile CRM Capabilities

Sage SalesLogix Mobile extends CRM capabilities to both BlackBerry and Windows Mobile devices, providing users with real-time wireless convenience regardless of their location. Sage SalesLogix Mobile users can access a full array of features from their devices to search, view, edit, and add account details, schedule meetings, take notes, review support ticket information, and update sales opportunities.

Advanced Customization For Developers

In addition to codeless customizations, advanced Sage SalesLogix v7.2 customizations can be made using standard development tools such as Visual Studio.NET or the included Sage SalesLogix code editor. A new developer sandbox allows partners to create customizations in a test environment prior to deploying them into production, and will help maintain customizations during upgrades to future versions of Sage SalesLogix.
