Former CA Executive to Lead Expanded Adoption of Innovative
Clientless Endpoint Security Management Solutions

Promisec Inc., a technology leader in endpoint security management, today named Alan Komet to the position of vice president of marketing. Alan was most recently the vice president of worldwide channel sales & marketing for CA, Inc (formerly Computer Associates), where he built brand awareness and managed integrated marketing campaigns to drive growth in product segments that included information security.

In his new role, Komet takes charge of executing Promisec’s marketing strategies and programs as the company continues to enhance and expand sales channels for its award-winning endpoint security management software. Prior to joining Promisec, Komet was the vice president of worldwide channel sales and marketing for CA. Inc. where he was responsible for brand awareness and partner-related activities. During his tenure at CA, he also assisted in expanding operations into EMEA and Asia Pacific and managed all CA Threat Management solutions. Prior to CA, Komet was vice president of worldwide sales and marketing for iRiS Software.

Komet’s experience running CA’s channel marketing operations, which included partner communications and channel marketing programs, backs him with significant experience which will provide great value for Promisec. In his new position, he plans to accelerate Promisec’s growth by creating integrated marketing campaigns to provide a foundation of partner-enabling resources. These resources will help partners successfully market and deploy Promisec technology with unprecedented customer satisfaction, profitability and ease.
