Free application enables Salesforce CRM users to distribute and track leads
with their channel partners

To be available as a free download, the application will allow Salesforce
CRM users to distribute leads to a partner on Partnerpedia and track the
opportunity throughout its sales cycle. Additional features include
automatic notifications to keep users up-to-date and a partner finder to
easily locate solution partners. In addition, channel partners will be able
to register deals with vendors through Partnerpedia.
Partnerpedia for Salesforce CRM subscribers will continue using the familiar
Salesforce interface to distribute and track leads – without requiring their
partners to be Salesforce subscribers. As such, there are no additional
costs to enable this capability for either vendors or partners. In addition,
Partnerpedia for Salesforce CRM subscribers will also receive one-click
access to the full range of Partnerpedia functionality including partner
management
tools.
To date, many users of Salesforce are still distributing and tracking
partner leads manually. Although solutions exist, complexity and costs are
the primary drivers preventing adoption.
