New Content Conversion Tool Offers Easy Transfer of Microsoft Word Documents into Panviva’s Flagship EPSS Software – Enhancing On-Demand Access to Support Documentation for Business Systems, Processes, and Products

New York – May 8, 2007- Panviva, a leading provider of electronic performance support systems (EPSS), today announced the availability of a new import module for its flagship solution, SupportPoint, which is used by enterprises worldwide to improve enterprise application adoption, process compliance and ongoing end-user support. The Content Conversion Tool enables fast and easy transfer of Microsoft Word documents into the SupportPoint system – simplifying content authoring and saving valuable time and effort.

This new functionality makes the migration of Word-based content into SupportPoint faster and more automated by allowing Word paragraph styles to be mapped to SupportPoint styles. Documentation can then be brought into SupportPoint where it can be edited and published to SupportPoint end-users. In addition, because many SupportPoint customers already develop much of their system documentation and training using simulation tools that export to Microsoft Word, the Content Conversion Tool now makes it even easier to repurpose existing training and documentation into effective performance support content.
