Mobile CRM+ Mobilizes and Extends CRM Server Functionality on Most Mainstream Smartphone

September 3, 2008, ATLANTA, GEORGIA – Softtrends today announced Mobile CRM+, which enables users easily and securely access leading CRM Server applications using Windows Mobile, Symbian OS and Blackberry platform based Smartphone.

Mobile CRM+ not just duplicates CRM functionality on a smaller device; it provides appropriate information entry and retrieval facility and leverages the audio and video capabilities of today’s Smartphone device to improve information capture. Based on Smart-Client design Mobile CRM+ not only makes Online, Offline, Semi-connected transactions possible, it also comes loaded with a host of innovative features to extend CRM server Transactions, Information and Interactivity to mobile professionals. It interfaces with Audio, Video/Camera, Email, Phone and other local Smartphone applications to provide a set of rich functionality to the user.

Capturing Leads and Contacts using device’s voice and camera, recording incoming/outgoing phone calls to leads and contacts, creating activities with voice instructions and picture illustrations, browsing leads/contacts/activities as user would do on Desktop interface, searching for information directly on CRM server are some of the standard features in Mobile CRM+. When recording a meeting, the Rolling Audio Recording Buffer (DVR) in Mobile CRM+ makes it possible to snapshot previous comments into sound bites, not just record the entire meeting.

Meetings/Phone calls can be scheduled for CRM contacts in CRM server using Outlook CRM client, and pushed to the mobile phone. Mobile CRM+ automatically identifies the pushed phone calls/meetings, acts on them, records the calls/meetings, attaches the recorded files to the respective activities, and uploads the files to CRM Server when the phone is idle” said D.P.Samantarai, CTO, Softtrends. “Any incoming call from a CRM Contact/Lead is also automatically identified, recorded and sent to the CRM Server as activity against the contact/lead”, he added.

Mobile CRM+ is currently available on Windows Mobile, Symbian OS and BlackBerry Smartphone, and supports Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0 (Hosted, online, in-premise versions) and Salesforce.com on-demand CRM. Fully functional trial versions of Mobile CRM+ are available at www.crmmobileplus.com. Mobile CRM+ can be easily ported to support any CRM application that provides APIs for accessing the CRM information. Efforts are underway to make Mobile CRM+ available on other mobile platforms.
