Market2Lead Releases New Version of On-Demand Marketing Automation Solution

Spring 07 Release Enhances Prospective Customer’s Web Experience

SANTA CLARA, Calif. – April 23, 2007 – Market2Lead, a software-as-a-service (SaaS) provider of B2B automated marketing solutions that accelerate demand and revenue growth, announced today that it has released a new version of its software. Among other new benefits, Market2Lead’s Spring 07 release enables marketers, for the first time, to provide their prospective customers with a “day pass” that grants complete access to white papers and other web resources for a fixed time period without asking them to fill out a web form on each visit.

Market2Lead CEO and Co-Founder Geoff Rego said, “The industry norm among marketers is to have their customer prospects complete a web registration form each time prospects visit the site to take advantage of an offer. We believe this results in high abandonment rates because it annoys prospects. Our approach has always been to help marketers improve the prospect’s experience. We invented progressive profiling to recognize returning prospects and respectfully glean information about them over time. Today’s announcement takes that a step further by eliminating the need to fill out forms for a marketer-specified time period. The result is reduced web form abandonment.”

When marketers use the new feature, if a prospective customer’s second or third visit to a vendor’s web site happen very soon after the previous visit, the prospect is taken directly to the resources (white papers, webinars, etc.) he’s looking for without forcing them to complete a web registration form with new questions. Rego explained that even when a marketer chooses to provide such a “day pass” to prospects, Market2Lead still builds the prospect’s profile by recording what the prospect does on the vendor’s web site.

Market2Lead’s Spring 07 release also provides a number of other enhancements over the previous version, which the company said would further enhance the prospect experience and make it even easier for marketers to quickly plan and implement automated campaigns.

The new version of the on-demand marketing automation software is available immediately.
