Konica Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A. Appoints Alan Nielsen Executive Vice President, Dealer Sales and Administration

Ramsey, N.J. – April 14, 2008 – Konica Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A., Inc. (Konica Minolta – www.kmbs.konicaminolta.us), a leading provider of advanced imaging and networking technologies for the desktop to the print shop, today announced that Alan Nielsen has been named Executive Vice President, Dealer Sales and Administration. Nielsen will report directly to Richard K. Taylor, Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer.

In the position, Nielsen will be responsible for managing all aspects of the Konica Minolta dealer business within the US market. Nielsen joins Konica Minolta from Ricoh Corporation where for more than 15 years he held sales positions with increasing responsibility. Most recently, Nielsen served as Executive Vice President, Indirect Division, where he was responsible for a $1.5 billion business unit and managing a total of nine dealer regions with more than 600 independent dealers. Prior to that Nielsen held the position of Vice President Indirect and Major Accounts Divisions where he managed two operating divisions with annual sales totaling $1.4 billion, and sold a full range of digital connectable, color and black and white copiers, facsimiles, printers, multifunctional and digital duplicator products.

Nielsen earned an MBA as well as a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Nebraska.
