PALO ALTO, CA – May 18, 2010, Jive Software, Inc. – Today Jive Software
announced that Tony Zingale has become Jive’s permanent CEO. He has been
the interim CEO for less than three months and has served on Jive’s board of
directors for well over two years.

“Jive is leading the Social Business revolution, just like Facebook and
LinkedIn did in our personal and professional lives,” said Tony Zingale, CEO
of Jive. “Social Business is the biggest shift in the way business gets done
in a generation. Jive has the right strategy, people and products to lead
this market like never before.”

Tony Zingale Background

Record Growth Fuels Continued Expansion; Palo Alto, California Named Jive’s
Headquarters

In less than a year Jive has increased its Silicon Valley team from 4 to 50
and expects to have over 100 employees in Palo Alto, Jive’s new
headquarters, by the beginning of next year. To accommodate this growth,
Jive recently signed a lease for a new facility in Palo Alto’s downtown
business district on 325 Lytton Avenue. Jive continues to aggressively hire
engineering, sales, marketing, product management, services and support
professionals in the Bay Area, and will relocate to the new headquarters
this fall.

Jive’s Portland center will continue to be a major hub of innovation and
investment. Jive recently reached capacity of its current office in
Portland, and this summer will begin the build out of an additional floor to
accommodate planned hiring. Jive also recently moved into a significantly
larger office located in Boulder, Colorado’s Pearl Street District. “Now we
have a strong hold in three of the top cities in the country for attracting
the best and brightest talent in the social software market,” said Bryan
LeBlanc, CFO at Jive.
