WASHINGTON (FOSE 2008, BOOTH# 1516) – April 1, 2008 – Infor today announced that it has joined the ENERGY STAR Service and Product Provider partnership to help customers improve the energy efficiency of their facilities and operations through Infor EAM Asset Sustainability Edition. ENERGY STAR is a joint program of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the U.S. Department of Energy designed to help save money and protect the environment through energy efficient products and practices.

Infor EAM Asset Sustainability Edition is an enterprise software solution that integrates energy consumption and emissions management into an organization’s asset management practices (see March 26, 2007 press release titled “Infor Helps Organizations Reduce Energy Costs and Achieve Sustainability Goals”). The software helps customers achieve ENERGY STAR goals for their facilities by monitoring energy consumption of assets – such as production equipment, HVAC, boilers, refrigeration units and lighting – in real-time. If an asset exceeds acceptable performance thresholds, the software triggers alerts so users can take corrective action.

Through energy monitoring, alerting and CO2 emissions reporting, Infor EAM Asset Sustainability Edition can be used by organizations to reduce energy costs and emissions of their buildings and manufacturing plants. According to the U.S. EPA, commercial and industrial facilities account for half of all energy consumption in the U.S., more than any other sector of the economy. Facilities and plants that earn the ENERGY STAR label consume on average 35 percent less energy than typical similar buildings and generate one-third less carbon dioxide.

Infor is committed to helping customers implement sustainability programs that benefit the environment and the bottom line. In addition to EAM solutions, Infor offers a comprehensive portfolio of enterprise software that addresses green and sustainability processes. These include Supply Chain Management (SCM), Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Performance Management (PM) and ERP. For more information, visit www.infor.com/goinggreen.

Infor is introducing Infor EAM Asset Sustainability Edition at FOSE 2008, (Booth# 1516) in Washington, DC, on April 1-3, 2008. For more information on Infor EAM Asset Sustainability Edition, visit http://www.infor.com/goinggreen/solutions/greeneam/as/.
