Third-party social media dashboard Hootsuite rolled out its new social analytics package overnight, and it’s a pretty sweet addition to what was already my favourite Twitter and social media platform.
While Hootsuite already had a basic analytics package in place (with extended information for premium account users), the new social analytics option is a whole new ball game.
Not only does it allow you to grab full analytics from your main social accounts – Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Ping.fm, WordPress.com, etc – but it also lets you tailor that information into white-labeled reports. You can then share this with internal teams for company accounts, or clients for specific projects.
This video gives you an overview of the key features, but like anything, there’s way more under the hood than a 6-minute video can show you.
Suffice to say, Hootsuite just took another step ahead of the other third-party social media platforms out there, and the new social analytics package offers a great way for businesses (and bloggers) to begin to understand their social media impact that little bit more.
Which is always a good thing, yes?
