London, United Kingdom | July 9, 2007: FTS (LSE: FTS), a global provider of Business Control, Billing & CRM solutions for communications service providers (CSP), has announced that it is working with Distributor of IT and Hardware and Systems Integrator RT2i in the African CSP market.
Systems Integrator RT2i is dedicated to the African market and has built an impressive client list in the African telco sector. RT2i will now market FTS’ solutions alongside its current portfolio, giving both companies increased depth in the African Service Provider market. In particular, the partnership with FTS will see RT2i resell and support the hardware required for FTS’ solutions as well as provide system integration capabilities to support FTS’ end-to-end converged solutions with HP OpenCall.
Service Providers in Africa now have increased access to FTS’ portfolio of Business Control, Billing and CRM solutions. This includes FTS’ flagship product, Leap™ Billing, which enables providers to charge in real-time for any type of service – voice, video, data or content. It is also a truly integrated pre/postpaid converged solution with fully integrated CRM and billing.
Leap Billing is built upon FTS’ Leap Business Control and Charging Function (Leap BCCF) patented technology, a highly flexible business rule engine. Furthermore, Leap Billing and Leap CRM comply with the most demanding performance, robustness and availability required from a mission critical system.
Yair Sakov, Vice President, Marketing and Business Development, FTS commented: “This is an encouraging move for the African provider market – Service Providers in the region can now access RT2i’s expertise and FTS’ solutions in the same place. Whilst FTS already has a strong portfolio of African customers as well as an excellent reputation, this partnership will serve to strengthen our profile in the region even further.”
