Knowing your customers is key to growing your organization. As a business you want to collect as much information as you can about your customer, including: products and services they want, how often they buy, and how much they buy.

Customer data is just one of several information silos within an organization, and the best snapshot of your customer rests within your CRM. Integrating your backend financial system with your CRM allows you to get a better understanding of your customers and engage them in more meaningful conversation.

For example, if your CRM and billing system are integrated, you’re able to instantly view customer transaction history and your account management team is armed with the information to offer the client a particular offer or upsell based on account history.

The key to all this is making sure all your CRM and financial system share information back and forth. By integrating the two systems you tear down the silos which gives you a better understanding, engagement and reaction to your customers.
