I have been writing, tweeting and pinning about the difference between human resource officers and human remains officers.

One of the key differences between an organizational development professional and a weenie is that the best organizational development professionals, learning officers and trainers know that to create enablement requires layering in skills over time with a focus on follow up, reinforcement and action planning.

These learning officers and organizational development pros know that when they create enablement through layering in skills it releases energy in their workforce.

As a result of this enhanced enablement and energy, the natural outcome is increased employee engagement.
