This is how to do it!

Just sent a picture off to a picture restorer: value of restoration: circa £170.

Instead of the normal ‘we don’t trust you’ policies given by most operators, eg

Hotels taking a print of your credit card
Pubs making you pay as you go behind the bar
Service companies making you pay in advance

They said: ‘Please don’t send a cheque until you’ve got it back and are 100% happy with it. We want to make sure it’s right and we won’t accept your money until it is’
