Dynamic Enterprise Publishing Solutions Improve Customer Communications & Drive Paperless Operations

BURLINGTON, MA, USA – October 29, 2007 — StreamServe® Inc., a global leader of Dynamic Enterprise Publishing solutions, today announced that Club Med, the worldwide specialist in all-inclusive upmarket, friendly, multicultural vacations, has deepened its relationship with StreamServe to facilitate the assembly and distribution of multi-lingual customer communications and promotional collateral, as well as to support its paperless initiative.

Club Med’s growth internationally, particularly in Asia, accelerated the need for an end-to-end document processing system that provides multiple stakeholders, such as agents and subsidiaries, with the ability to customize documents to better meet the needs of its geographically dispersed and multi-lingual clientele. For example, StreamServe supports the ability to translate documents into multiple languages, including Kanji and other Unicode character sets used in Asian markets.

Using StreamServe, Club Med can access documents throughout the enterprise and effectively re-purpose, customize, and distribute them in formats such as PDF or HTML, or other channels most effective to a particular campaign or customer.

Club Med originally implemented StreamServe in 2005 to centrally manage and distribute a wide array of documents for its global customer base, including registration forms, travel related documentation, and refund letters with checks or gift certificates. Leveraging StreamServe’s document management solutions, Club Med tracks and accesses all enterprise documents, including customer correspondence, while providing personalized communications. For example, when documents are sent to a customer by e-mail, the body of the message can be enhanced with a photo of the village where the traveler will be staying or a photo of the village leader who will welcome the customer.

This quarter, Club Med is expanding its paperless operations by opting for electronic documentation and storage that links its website to consumers, effectively improving customer relations and ensuring accessibility to mission-critical information. Customers benefit from quick and convenient access to information, while Club Med has reaped significant process efficiencies and lowered operating costs as a result of reducing manual processes and expenses relating to its distributed print management.

“Companies increasingly require a global footprint inclusive of a responsive, well-branded, and personalized customer experience,” said Chris Stone, president and CEO, StreamServe, Inc. “Club Med is a prime example of how StreamServe’s straight-through document processing and personalization capabilities improve operational efficiencies, profitability, while impacting customer loyalty and retention.”
