We all know it’s been a shocking few years for the Global economy, and there are few countries where the fall into economic turmoil has been more pronounced than Ireland. But I recently watched this clip, and thought it was a good opportunity to show how important experience is for business, regardless of sector. I also thought it a good an opportunity to get my patriotic hat on and try and sell Ireland as a destination, please take the time out have a look at this clip:

Watching this clip will show you what a great place Ireland is to visit. What lies at the heart of this sales pitch by our tourist board is the experience that is on offer. It’s pretty obvious to think that when people choose a destination they make the decision based on the experience they expect to have.

This is something that we all know intuitively, and those of us interested in hospitality or customer experience should be familiar with how important this is. But in looking to this video, I found the knock on Macro economic effects as shown, an interesting perspective from which to look at the whole area of customer experience, those that work to continually improve in delivering a heightened experience will deserve the fruits of their efforts.

Oh, did i forget to mention, Happy St Patrick’s Day!
