Altitude Software Achieves Strong Growth in Contact Center Agent Shipments Worldwide

29% Increase in Shipments Shows Altitude’s Momentum within Vendors “Top Ten” in Key Markets, According to Leading Industry Analyst Firm Research

Lisbon, Portugal, September 9, 2008 – Altitude Software, a global leader in contact center solutions, has registered an approximately 29% increase in agent shipments worldwide, and was one of the three top 10 manufacturers to register a double-digit growth in year-over-year increases in total agent shipments in 2007, according to the Gartner Dataquest report “Market Share: Contact Centers, Worldwide, 2007” by Drew Kraus, June 2008.

On a regional basis, Altitude Software has experienced a 115% increase in shipments in 2007 and it now holds a top five market share position in Latin America. In EMEA, a 19% increase has placed Altitude Software firmly in the top 10 manufacturers by market share. Notwithstanding being a relative newcomer to the Asia Pacific market, in 2007 Altitude Software registered an outstanding performance in IP agent shipments and secured a place in the regions “top ten”.

Within the EMEA Region, the Gartner report showed even stronger growth in key markets such as Spain (23% increase, third market share position); France (142% increase, fifth market share position); Germany (Altitude now has the tenth largest market share) and Italy *.

Altitude Software has recently announced the availability of the Altitude IP Contact Center 3.5 Release. The Altitude IP Contact Center is a complete modular software suite putting together the Altitude uCI (Unified Customer Interaction) multichannel software solution and the Altitude vBox, a contact center optimized soft switch. The latest version brings to Contact Centers the benefits of SIP trunking, centralized voice recording over IP; and outbound voice automation, enabling a wealth of new features and adding support for a number of hardware platforms.
