Leading Unified Messaging Provider Continues to Innovate with Upcoming Release of Repartee® version 10.0

(SEATTLE, WA—October 30, 2007)— Active Voice, LLC, a global provider of voice mail, unified communications and speech-activated solutions, today announced plans to release Repartee® version 10.0, the Company’s breakthrough innovation of their Unified Messaging (UM) solution.

“Our upcoming release of Repartee will be a substantial advancement for Active Voice users, as we have leveraged the flexibility and reliability of open source technologies creating new and easy ways for the workforce to keep in touch,” said Eyal Inbar, General Manager of Marketing, Active Voice. “The engineering design guideline for this release was to build a turnkey software appliance that is radically simple to install, administer and operate, while also maintaining the full strength and complexity of the Linux core back end. No other messaging providers offer this kind of UM engine that caters to the specific needs of small-to-medium businesses and their mobile workforce.”

With Repartee Unified Messaging, sales people who travel frequently, for example, can access and manage their voice, fax and e-mail messages with any communication device regardless of their physical location. This, in turn, helps to increase productivity by keeping them connected with colleagues and customers; accelerating response time and improving customer service.

“For example, an iGoogle user can now access voice mail, video mail and e-mail using their personal portal. This is one of many examples demonstrating how Unified Messaging accessibility has evolved as a result of Active Voice’s innovative designs,” added Inbar. “Repartee 10.0 enables Outlook, iGoogle and iTunes users to retrieve their messages from the communication device they most commonly use. This software appliance solution is a significant step toward enabling users to integrate this platform as a Unified Communications component as they begin to migrate from Unified Messaging to Unified Communications.”

Repartee LX 10.0 is a PC-based Unified Messaging appliance that is built upon a proven software code and the Linux operating system, offering small-to-medium businesses (SMBs) growth potential and sustainability. It will be available to SMBs in November 2007 through Active Voice dealers and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs).
