Leading Unified Messaging and Communications Provider Showcases Innovative Solutions that Enable Companies to Migrate Traditional Messaging Systems

(SEATTLE, WA and SAN FRANCISCO, CA — August 21, 2007) — Active Voice, LLC, a global provider of Unified Messaging, Unified Communications and speech-activated solutions, will exhibit its enterprise solutions and showcase its next generation Unified Messaging (UM) platform, Kinesis 3.0, at VoiceCon 2007 in San Francisco, California August 21 and 22, 2007.

In addition, Active Voice’s General Manager of Marketing, Eyal Inbar, will conduct a joint presentation Wednesday, August 22, 2007 at Moscone North Convention Center. Mr. Inbar’s presentation, titled “Migrating Your Messaging System,” will focus on how organizations can successfully migrate their traditional voice mail and UM systems gradually and at their own pace to a fully-featured Unified Communications (UC) system.

“Active Voice works closely with our customers to ensure they have the best solution to unite their traditional and familiar communications tools, and help evolve the organization towards unified communications,” said Eyal Inbar, General Manager of Marketing, Active Voice. “On behalf of Active Voice, I’m looking forward to presenting this philosophy at VoiceCon, and demonstrating how unified messaging can act as a seamless bridge toward unified communications.”

Active Voice Kinesis 3.0 is designed to simplify the Unified Messaging landscape and shorten the user adoption cycle while maximizing enterprise communication retrieval and delivery. The flexible architecture of the system helps to minimize installation, administration, and maintenance costs thereby lowering an organization’s total cost of ownership and making processes easier for system administrators. Kinesis 3.0 is a highly customizable UM application that enables large enterprises to migrate into unified communications systems easily and at their own pace.

“With Kinesis 3.0, customers now have the option of either starting basic or scaling back when needed. Kinesis can be deployed as a voice mail only solution at locations where Unified Messaging is not required,” said Daniel Vlad, General Manager of Engineering, Active Voice. “For companies requiring a more fully featured Unified Messaging system that fits into their communication environment, and for organizations that experience heavy message traffic, Kinesis 3.0 can be installed and set up to harness the power and reliability of existing communication systems to provide simplified administration, a single directory service and a single message store.”

This next generation Kinesis system also provides convenient access to VideoMail, voice, fax and e-mail messages from the phone, client applications such as Microsoft Outlook® client or IBM Lotus Notes, or browser, which helps to improve employee productivity and maximize collaboration.

With the newest feature of Kinesis 3.0 – VideoMail – users will be able to create and deliver video messages and screen captures via e-mail. Moreover, users will be able to record and playback voice and video messages from their Outlook® client. Users will also have the ability to create a video with a camera or record an animated screen capture, or both. The flexibility of VideoMail also enables audio files created during video capture to be accessed and played back via phone.

“Our overarching goal with Active Voice Kinesis 3.0 and VideoMail is to provide end users with a faster, more reliable and easier way to communicate to their audiences, and we are confident that this innovative new feature will do so for thousands of users,” said Inbar.

Active Voice will be demonstrating their suite of voice and messaging solutions for the small to large enterprise, including Kinesis 3.0, at booth #714.
