A Feature Rich iPhone Client for Managing Contacts & Activities on MS Dynamics CRM Server Now Available from Softtrends for $20

today announced immediate availability of iPhone Contact & Activity manager
Client for MS Dynamics CRM server with several automated contact, activity
tracking, and CRM intelligence gathering features. This Client supports all
MS Dynamics CRM OnPremise, and Hosted servers that are accessible from Internet.
Separate clients are available for OnPremise servers hosted inside firewall.


In addition to a user interface for browsing, viewing, searching, creating, editing,
assigning, and deleting Contacts and contact related Activities in both Online
and Offline mode, this client takes advantage of iPhone hardware and device
applications to provide a host of enhanced features. Logging phone calls to
CRM Contacts and tracking it in CRM server as a related Phone call activity,
recording meetings with CRM Contacts and tracking it in CRM server as Appointment
activity, Syncing CRM Contacts with device address book, sending emails to
CRM contacts, creating contact/activity notes with audio and image attachments
are some of the enhanced features provided in this Client.

Contact & Activity Manager supports Offline mode and has persistence architecture
to store large amount of data for Offline usage. When the application is set
to Offline, or there is no network connection, user can still view all data
cached on the device, and enter new data that will be stored locally. When
set back to online mode or network connection becomes available, the updated
data is synced to the server. It implements automatic screen-locking-due-to-inactivity
mechanism to prevent others from viewing user’s CRM information.
