Post Road Diner
“Post Road Diner hands out stickers at the end of the meal. It always excites the boys and makes them want to come back”
Today’s Lagniappe (a little something extra for good measure) – On the topic of diners, here is an acapella version of “Tom’s Diner” by Suzanne Vega. Click here for a backstory on the song. It’s inspired by Tom’s Restaurant in New York City, which is odd cause it’s not a diner by name. If you are a fan of Seinfeld, you’ve seen the outside thousands of times. For the record its on the corner of 112nd and Broadway near Columbia University.
Lagniappe defined: A marketing lagniappe, i.e. purple goldfish, is any time a business goes above and beyond to provide a ‘little something extra’. It’s that unexpected surprise that’s thrown in for good measure.
