The 5 ‘Cs’ To B2B Success with Cloudware

B2B customers are expecting more from their partners than ever, so stay ahead of the curve and deliver with these five excellent tips for using cloudware for B2B success.

To the uninitiated, the Cloud might just be an alternative storage service, but to those of us seeking to stay at the very forefront of business innovation, we are open to the numerous services and opportunities that the Cloud actually offers.

Whilst storage is in large part one of the Cloud’s most widely used services, there are other systems on the Cloud that can make operating a business in modern times much easier, especially if your company specialises in business to business (B2B) custom.

So what can businesses do to make the most of the Cloud services at their fingertips?

Confidence

When you run a company there are so many different components to manage that you can easily lose track of where everyone is meant to be at with their deadlines.

With Cloud-based systems you can make sure that you and your team leaders are on top of important tasks. You can set targets and projects assigned to specific teams or people – you can literally conduct your company from your desk and keep track of each project’s progress. If you’re confident enough in your management ability, you can even share this progress with your client so they can keep an eye on the project themselves.

Capture

Gather information. Using CRM tools, you will be able to collate data on your clients; using CMS tools, you can keep content and files in one place and certain other tools can help you gather information on your finances.

Keeping all your information in one easily accessible location is crucial to the smooth running of a business. You need to stay informed, keep in touch with your company at all times, and be able to share data with your clients at any given moment.

Circulate

There are a number of cloud-based tools that allow you to publish, mass-email or message staff or clients. Keeping your team up to date, or indeed your clients, with the progress of a project or with important information can help to build your relationships.

With services like MailChimp you are able to publish mass email marketing campaigns and track their progress effectively through Google Analytics.

Collaborate

A number of services, including most worthwhile cloud-based storage providers, allow real time editing which lends itself perfectly for collaboration with your clients. You can assign security settings to allow specific clients access to particular Google Drive documents or give them access to a Gather Content process. There are hundreds of services that specialise in a variety of different niches available to a wide range of industries, all you need to do is find them and find the best way to use them.

Communicate

You could argue that this is covered throughout the other four steps, but there are systems that allow you to communicate on other levels, such as the renowned Skype, which gives you cloud access to free web video calls. This is excellent for long distance business meetings and remote conferences.

All in all there are several key ways that you can improve the way your business interacts with other businesses through the use of the Cloud. Finding the right services that work for you, your staff and your clients can be tricky, but once you’ve nailed a process that works both you and your clients will benefit from its use.
