SMS Varanasi organizes SMART for School and College Students
SMART is an offering to the academic society from School of Management Science to recognize and reward talented students of Intermediate and Undergraduate level. The objective of SMART is to explore & promote the talent of Young Generation. SMART is an endeavor to discover the best of the best students having the right academic quotient. It is the platform for the participant to evaluate oneself in holistic manner, through participating at state level competition.
SMART provides following opportunities to the participants:
• To participate and represent school/college in a state level academic competition.
• Winners to be recognized at institutional & State Level.
• Awareness about the competitive environment which they will face in the near future.
• A self evaluating opportunity for assessing their aptitude and knowledge beyond their School/College Boundary at state level.
• Cash prize of Rs.25,000, Rs.15,000 & Rs.10,000 for the first, second and third position holder respectively. Two consolation prizes of Rs.5,000 each.
• To secure financial assistance for pursuing higher education in the form of Scholarships.
Entry Process
• Only Regular students of Class 12 and Final Year Graduation can participate in the event.
• Participants have to fill registration form available at their school/college office.
• Photocopy of Identity Card issued by School/College to be attached with the registration form.
• Registration form should be submitted at School/College office only.
• Date of Event will be notified on Notice board of School/College.
• Entry in SMART is FREE.
Rules and Regulations
• Preliminary Round will be held at School / College premises.
• Preliminary Round will have 100 objective questions of general awareness & mental ability.
• There will be no negative marking. Duration of examination will be of 90 Minutes.
• From each School/College top five students will be invited to participate in the Final SMART Round on 19th November, 2011.
• Incomplete Registration form will be rejected.
• All the correspondence will be through school/college authority and Short Message Services at mobile number provided by the participant.
• In case of any dispute the decision of organizing committee of SMART will be final.
