“Internet on the Go” Is your website easily viewable on any device?
Like me you are likely frustrated by viewing a website on your hand held device. When I use my Blackberry (I’m proud to be Canadian!) the overwhelming majority of sites were developed for viewing on desktops and laptops. Today, new sites should be developed as “responsive” sites. These type of site provide the best viewing whatever device you are using.
Why is this important? It’s simple actually, mobile users will leave or as I refer to it as ‘evacuate’ your site in seconds (never to return again!)
If you are using a laptop you can likely see the homepage content in its entirety – or – by scrolling a few times. In 2011and more so in 2012 companies started created a mobile version of their site known as a ‘mobile site”. Some businesses chose to create a single page such as a the homepage as a ‘mobile page’ which is what I did. In 2013 the rage is responsive sites.
