I’ve never been to Slovenia before so when I was asked to keynote a conference there I definitely got excited. My presentation was on the business value of enterprise 2.0 and social networking in the enterprise, as in employee facing. Here are the slides from that presentation, let me know what you think!
The Business Value of Enterprise 2.0 and Social Networking in the Enterprise

Hi Jacob:
Thanks for sharing your slides.
We believe that it is vital for organizations to have the ability to selectively engage internal and external stakeholders with the right knowledge, experience, context and responsibilities for the task at hand.
As such, we also believe that the boundaries created by E2.0 and SCRM systems around content and individual reputations earned significantly decreases the realistic life span of these technologies and that they must converge to provide sustainable value that can scale to fully leverage the individual and collective horsepower of stakeholders across an organization’s entire ecosystem.
What are your thoughts on the importance for tearing down these artificial boundaries? Would you also agree that merging E20 and SCRM technologies down the road will be difficult if not impossible for organization’s that fail to plan for this early on?
Bests, Chuck
