This is the latest in a series of weekend posts highlighting a wide variety of applications we think are pretty cool. Most have to do with sales, marketing and productivity. Check out past featured apps here.
I’m featuring two apps this week because they work similarly to accomplish the same goals.
Traditionally, in sales, you’ll send out some collateral or a copy of a presentation deck as an attachment. No tracking, no sense for if or when the prospect reads or engages with it, etc.
Similarly, your only option with a PDF lead asset (white paper, best practice guide, etc.) is to either give it for free to prospects, or require registration before they see it.
Docalytics makes it possible to engage prospects and customers with interactive materials – embedding registration forms and interactive content right within your collateral. For example, instead of requiring registration up-front to access your best practice guides, you can let prospects read the first 2-3 pages, then register to see the rest. Plus, you get great reporting on how far they read, where they spend the most time, etc.
Clearslide works similarly for sales presentations and other PowerPoint decks. Instead of forwarding an attachment, you give prospects and customers a link. Same content, with easier and faster access, plus you get complete insights into when they engaged, how far they got, which slides they spent the most time on, etc.
Definitely worth a look.
