In today’s fast paced world, it is important to remember that everything you do is better when it is personalized and individualized.

That is true regardless whether you are giving praise in person or electronically.

I have debated with some HR folks about their misguided perspective that electronic praise is ineffective.

While I agree that you need to blend high touch with high tech, it is critical to integrate individualized and personalized use of electronic praise.

There are so many benefits of electronic praise when done correctly.

Here are just a few:

1. It can be saved to be enjoyed again and again.
2. It can be forwarded to a colleague or family member.
3. It can be forwarded and shared on a social network.
