Sawfish Software has developed a document management system within its SalesFlow Business Process Management software.
By including document management within the sales management system, relevant documentation can be easily linked to each individual enquiry
With numerous enquiries often stemming from one client, staff would have to search through a centralised client file to find the relevant documentation for the individual sale being managed. With the SalesFlow document management system, the relevant files are attached to the workflow for the individual sale, and are immediately accessible by anyone progressing the account.
The document management system also incorporates version control so that all changes made to the documents can be tracked. The associated audit trail offers accountability for each alteration made to a sale, whether in the detail of the order, or the costings.
Steve Hull, chief executive of Sawfish Software, said: “SalesFlow has been designed taking every element of customer relationship management into account.
“With document management, a business can avoid creating a paper mountain detailing each and every alteration. The version control enables each change to be tracked alongside details of every contact with the client. All relevant people within the organisation have access to the details of the account. Should someone need to progress a sale they have not previously worked on, the information is available at their fingertips to enable them to be up-to-speed quickly.”
