In my mind, there’s no doubting the value of the adage, “A picture is worth a thousand words”. In fact, most marketers will agree that not only do pictures tell great stories, but they also attract, engage and in many cases, sell the value of a product or service.

Bottom line, the more time buyers spend on your digital properties, the more likely they will become customers.

You may not have an image gallery like Adriana Lima, but don’t let that stop you from showcasing your images like a supermodel.

Want to “sexy up” the static images on your blog, website or social media without using expensive software? No problem! Here are a couple cool, budget friendly tools you can use to breath life into your image gallery:

Cooliris Express

The Cooliris technology has been used to solve image gallery issues for publishers like the Wall Street Journal. Cooliris offers a free version, Cooliris Express that allows you to embed a 3D media wall in your website, blog or social media page. Heck, if it works for Holly Madison, it’ll work for you, right?

Animoto

If you want to turn your images into a video with a soundtrack, there are several solutions available. One that I like is Animoto, which auto-produces an animated slideshow set to a soundtrack. It’s inexpensive and easy to use, which is nice if you want to experiment with multiple videos. It’s popular with casual users for greeting cards and an alternative to a slide show of your cool vacation, etc. There are some professional applications as well. I’ve used Animoto to spruce up light budget landing pages and create event recaps.
