Zoho Strengthens Executive Team to Support Rapid Growth

PLEASANTON, Calif. — March 8, 2012 — Reasserting its commitment to customers during this period of rapid growth, Zoho today announced that Rodrigo Vaca has been promoted to vice president of marketing. In addition, Raj Sabhlok, president of Zoho Corp., is expanding the Zoho division’s customer service and sales support operations.

As Zoho vice president of marketing, Vaca will be responsible for go-to-market strategy, demand generation, branding and social media. Vaca will also be working to bring the benefits of Zoho to customers, providing the online applications that free them to concentrate on their businesses. Vaca was previously director of marketing for Zoho. Before Zoho, he held key positions at Google, Microsoft and SAP.

As the number of worldwide subscribers to the Zoho suite of online applications passes the five million mark, Sabhlok will oversee the expansion of Zoho sales and customer service facilities in Austin, Texas and Chennai, India. Prior to Zoho Corp., Sabhlok spent nearly 20 years at companies like Embarcadero Technologies, BMC Software and The Santa Cruz Operation (SCO).
