Xactly Corporation Announces Record Business Performance in 2008

SAN JOSE, Calif.—January 13, 2009—Xactly Corporation, the leader in on-demand sales performance management, today announced the third straight year of record revenue, with significant gains in customer growth, as well as an unprecedented level of industry awards and recognition.

In the 12 months ending December 31, 2008, Xactly achieved more than 140 percent increase in recurring revenue and an 87 percent year-over-year increase in total revenue. The company also added to its customer base, with a third of existing customers adding new modules or subscribers, and increased its total number of subscribers by 84 percent.

In 2008, Xactly also made significant achievements in the following areas:

• Secured $30M in new financing. In one of the market’s largest Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) investments to date, Xactly raised $30 million in additional capital to fund continued business growth and capitalize on its leadership role in the emerging Sales Performance Management (SPM) space.
• Delivered key innovations on product roadmap. In addition to launching the fourth generation of its flagship Xactly Incent on-demand sales compensation management application, Xactly changed the game for sales-related analytics with the launch of Xactly Analytics, the first on-demand application to deliver rich analytics capabilities on top of comprehensive and reliable post-sales data, the most accurate source of information for measuring sales performance. Xactly also made available a revolutionary new application for leveraging non-cash incentives, called Xactly Rewards.
• Signed marquee new customers. In expanding both its customer and subscriber bases in 2008, Xactly brought the transformative power of on-demand sales performance management to such leading companies as 3Com, Carestream Health, Data Domain, Intuitive Surgical, NTT America, Omniture, PayPal, PepBoys, Rackspace, SureWest Communications and TIBCO Software.
• Increased business with existing customers. Proving the value received by their Xactly implementations, the company achieved a 90 percent renewal rate with more than one third of customers adding additional subscribers or modules. These include CableVision, Concur, COX Media, Informatica, Mainline, Misys Healthcare Salesforce.com and Time Warner Cable.
• Strengthened partner ecosystem. Xactly was selected by Oracle as one of the ‘Elite Eight’ key partners forming an integrated ecosystem of complementary solutions offering extended value to Oracle CRM On Demand customers. Early customer wins include MidSouth Bank, Consumer Source and SuccessFactors. Also in 2008, Xactly developed its first native application on the Salesforce.com Force.com platform.
• Expanded international presence. Extending its global reach, more than 25 percent of Xactly users are from outside the U.S. and 90 percent of Xactly customers pay in multiple currencies. EMEA customers include Acision, Commvault Systems, Dimension Data, Epicor, Misys Banking and Siemens.
• Received overwhelming industry recognition. In addition to winning the American Business Award for “Nation’s Best New Company—Computer Hardware, Software & Services,” Xactly also received the International Business Award for “World’s Best New Company.” Also in 2008, Xactly won the 2008 CODiE Award in the category for “Best Financial Software Solution,” took home TMC’s “CRM Excellence Award,” was named to JMP Securities’ “Hot 100: Best Privately Held Software Companies,” was named by Silicon Alley Insider as a finalist for the “SAI 25: World’s Most Valuable Digital Startups,” received Intelligent Enterprise’s “Company to Watch” award, and was named by CRM Magazine as a “2008 Influential CRM Market Leader.” Xactly customer Optimum Lightpath, meanwhile, was awarded the highest honor in the Sales Performance Management category of Ventana Research’s “Leadership Award” for its implementation of Xactly Incent.
