If you’re reading this, you probably found one of your posts in Not Approved status, and are wondering why our Moderator did not approve it for publication. The most common reasons are:
- Off-topic content not relevant to our community. Posts should be relevant to business managers interested in customer-related issues. Learn more about our topics.
- Excessive promotional content.
Posts should be educational, not designed to promote other content, generate leads, or market companies or solutions.
- SEO backlinks.
Hyperlinking keywords and phrases to other sites to manipulate search engines is not permitted. This is a form of spam that violates Google webmaster guidelines.
- Too short or lacking in educational information.
We generally don’t publish short posts (<500 words) with basic information that has already been covered extensively on the site.
- Content written by someone else.
Republishing is allowed, provided that author wrote the original content and it was published under author’s byline elsewhere.
