Dallas, TX – October 21, 2013 –WhereScape, a provider of agile development
software for modeling, building, extending and automating data warehouse
development, and Teradata Corporation (NYSE: TDC), the global leader in
analytic data platforms, applications and services, announced today a global
reseller agreement. Under the agreement terms, WhereScape’s solutions will
be resold globally by Teradata, providing Teradata customers an integrated,
agile development environment to build or extend their Teradata® data
warehouses. The announcement was made at PARTNERS, where WhereScape is
demonstrating its Teradata-specific data warehouse modeling and development
solutions in booth #208.

Teradata will remarket WhereScape 3D, the industry’s first data warehouse
planning tool, and WhereScape RED, the industry’s first and best integrated
development environment for building, deploying, managing and extending data
warehouses and analytic environments. Dozens of Teradata customers,
including Delta Community Credit Union, Georgia’s largest credit union, with
assets exceeding $4 billion and more than 280,000 members, currently use
WhereScape to rapidly and iteratively build their Teradata data warehouses
and analytic appliances.

“After a series of successful high profile implementations, it makes perfect
sense that WhereScape and Teradata have moved beyond a standard partner
relationship to a reseller relationship,” said Shawn Rogers, Vice President
of Research, Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing, Enterprise
Management Associates. “WhereScape and Teradata customers now benefit from
the ability to engage with WhereScape’s development solutions at the start
of projects, enabling them to move faster and with agility towards
implementation. Teradata understands that helping clients attain value
faster is a competitive advantage.”

“Our joint customers continue to experience consistent success with
WhereScape in deploying data warehouse environments quickly. WhereScape
provides an expedited return on investment service to our clients. This
complimentary value proposition naturally supports the need for our newly
announced reseller agreement with WhereScape,” said Rob Berman, vice
president of global alliances, Teradata Corporation.

“We are delighted to be elevating our business relationship with Teradata
with this global reseller agreement,” said WhereScape CEO Michael
Whitehead. “Teradata is the acknowledged leader in data warehousing and
WhereScape’s automated data warehouse modeling and development solutions
enable Teradata customers to build fully documented data warehouses in less
time and for less money. Our tight integration with Teradata’s Unified Data
Architecture ensures a seamless experience that helps deliver rapid time to
value, a winning value proposition for Teradata customers,” Whitehead said.
