VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA – June 12, 2007 – Maximizer Software Inc. (TSX: MAX), the world’s leading provider of affordable and easy-to-use Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software applications, today announced that West Coast Environmental Law, a not-for-profit law organization, has achieved success using Maximizer CRM in a not-for-profit setting. The organization, which analyzes environmental law and develops strategies to empower and mobilize communities and reform the law in order to bring about progressive change, uses Maximizer to manage day-to-day client relations as well as relationships with donors.

Based in Vancouver, West Coast Environmental Law is British Columbia’s legal champion for the environment. Through legal advice, education and advocacy, the organization’s team of lawyers and researchers provide their expertise free-of-charge to those involved in legal matters that affect the environment and its sustainability. As a not-for-profit organization, West Coast Environmental Law is pressed not only to serve its ever-increasing group of legal advice clients, but also to manage vital relationships with its financial backers whose donations fund the organization’s programs.

With very modest resources to devote to information technology, the organization required an easy-to-use client and donor relationship management system that could be quickly customized to support its specific requirements. As long-time Maximizer users, West Coast reviewed available systems with the help of CRM consultants Alpha Pacific Technologies, and opted to upgrade and customize Maximizer to integrate its fundraising and financial systems with Maximizer’s CRM functions.

“As a not-for-profit organization that provides legal services in the under-resourced environmental field, both our client relationships and the ongoing relationships we have with our donors are absolutely vital,” said Christopher Heald, Systems Administrator, West Coast Environmental Law. “Because it is so powerful, easy-to-use and administer, Maximizer represents a major opportunity for non-profits and charities. It helps us with so many of the problems we have in raising funds and keeping track of our legal clients that we literally couldn’t attain our vision for empowering citizens without this system.”

With Maximizer, West Coast Environmental Law addresses its most pressing requirements including lawyer-client relationships, efficient operations and ongoing fundraising efforts – in a comprehensive system. The organization has also transitioned from a paper-intensive administration system to a largely paperless operation. West Coast Environmental Law has implemented a donor management tab in Maximizer which greatly simplifies the vital requirement to distinguish between current clients, fundraising prospects and long-term key financial donors. The organization’s lawyers are now able to quickly access the information they need when dealing with incoming phone inquiries from any of the organization’s diverse stakeholders.

“Not-for-profit organizations have many of the same challenges as their corporate peers without the financial and human resources to meet those challenges,” said Peter Callaghan, Chief Sales Officer, Maximizer Software. “Affordable, easy-to-use and above all cost effective, Maximizer puts sophisticated CRM technology well within the grasp of organizations like West Coast Environmental Law. Their success with CRM is a testament to what can be achieved with clever planning and the right empowering technologies.”
