The Rackspace Cloud Demonstrates Support for Oracle Software at OpenWorld

Proven enterprise-class software capability combined with utility cloud

SAN ANTONIO – OCTOBER 13, 2009 – The Rackspace Cloud, the cloud computing
division of RackspaceR Hosting (NYSE:RAX),
today announced its participation in Oracle’s premiere event, Oracle
OpenWorld, held October 11 – 15, 2009, at the Moscone Center, San Francisco.
Hasan Rizvi, Senior Vice President, Oracle Fusion Middleware will showcase
for the first time an Oracle Database and Oracle WebLogic running on a
Rackspace Cloud ServerT environment during his Oracle Fusion Middleware
11g-Foundation for Innovation address. Cloud Servers delivers on-demand
server capacity to businesses of all sizes.

The new solution support for Oracle will be available from The Rackspace
Cloud in the coming months. It will be backed by Rackspace’s
