YouTube is still one of my top favourite channels for discovering great content about customer experience, marketing or more general topics of innovation and technology. So today, I want to share the coolest CX-related YouTube channels out there, for a welcome injection of inspiration in these trying times.

Founded in 2008, Behind the Brand with Bryan Elliott is a show about innovators, entrepreneurs and the stories behind their success. Though this channel has a broader scope than mere CX, you’ll find many talks there with top marketing gurus like Gary Vaynerchuck, Brian Solis and Seth Godin.

Here’s for instance an interview with Marty Neumeier, an American author and speaker who’s specialized in the topics of brand, design, innovation, creativity and the brand gap (which is also the title of his book).

Pat Flynn is a blogger and internet marketer most famous for his blog Smart Passive Income. On his YouTube channel, he’s known to produce fun, inspiring content that will help you adapt your marketing style to the current market and consumer context.

Here he is, for instance, offering 10 tips and tricks about the latest Clubhouse app trend.

Simon Sinek’s ‘Start With Why’ is to this day one of my favourite concepts. Simon originally ‘just’ wanted to understand why some people and organizations are more innovative, more influential, and more profitable than others? So he came up with the idea that people like Martin Luther King Jr., Steve Jobs, and the Wright Brothers all started with WHY. They realized that people won’t truly buy into a product, service, movement, or idea until they understand the WHY behind it.

His YouTube channel may not be restricted to the subject of CX alone, but what he shares there about innovation, leadership, innovation, balance and many other subjects are definitely great inspiration for anyone working in CX.

Watch him explain here how and when he came up with his renowned golden circle idea:

Neil Patel is a New York Times bestselling author and one of world’s top marketers. He is best known for his work in digital marketing and social media and as the creator of Ubersuggest (a popular SEO tool). His YouTube channel is a treasure trove of information about Alexa ranking, content marketing, storytelling, SEO and many other digital marketing subjects.

Watch him for instance explain how digital marketing will change in 2021

People tend to have strong opinions about Gary Vaynerchuk’s personality and content. But love him or hate him, this author, founder of coms company VaynerX and digital agency VaynerMedia and partner of VaynerSports (and many other companies), is one of the most successful and most followed entrepreneurs out there. So  he must be doing something right, when it comes to customer engagement and experience.

He publishes insights every Monday, Wednesday and Friday on his GaryVee YouTube channel, so the flow of new material is just as fast and smooth as Gary is himself. Here’s an example of an interview where he discusses the most important platforms for brands to be on right now, the type of content you should be making, and the strategies for creating content in the 2021 digital environment:

As a bonus on top of the 5 fantastic channels above, I just want to grab the occasion, for those of you out there who don’t know me, to tell you about my own customer experience YouTube channel which I’m very excited to report has recently topped the 20K followers. The channel offers a continuous stream of fresh content about customer experience, customer service and customer centricity in a digital world.

I am also the author of multiple international bestselling books including ‘The Conversation Manager’, ‘When Digital Becomes Human’, ‘Customers the Day after Tomorrow’, ‘The Offer You Can’t Refuse’ and a recent technology thriller called Eternal.

Here’s a recent video where I answer the 10 most Frequently Asked Questions of customer experience
