Integrated solution will increase the value of invoices, making them easier to read and understand

BURLINGTON, Mass. – February 25, 2009 – StreamServe, Inc., a leading provider of business communication solutions, today announced that it has signed an OEM (original equipment manufacturer) partnership agreement with LHS, a division of the Ericsson Group and a leading global provider of billing and customer care systems. LHS will add the StreamServe output management solution to its BSCS iX billing and customer care software. Using this combination, LHS customers will be able to increase the value of their invoices thanks to simple composition and flexible form design.

StreamServe and LHS have been working together since 2007 under a distributor agreement. Both companies expect the new OEM partnership to increase growth, improve costs, and to lead to the continuous joint improvement of products and services. “With the output management solution, LHS customers will be able to automate their invoicing process to a high level, including bulk mailing, and therefore make the procedure quick and easy,” said Dennis Ladd, President and CEO of StreamServe. LHS can also offer the output management solution at a considerably lower cost as a result of savings on licenses.

The BSCS iX billing and customer care system enables calculation and billing processes to be conducted in real-time. This improves the level of customer service. The customer is the center of attention: from sales through the supply of price information to real-time billing. The modular design of the solution allows for low-risk, step-by-step migration and simple integration into existing systems.

Dr. Jens Trötscher, CTO of LHS commented that the StreamServe solution fits in to the LHS product range extremely well. Both companies, who know each other very well and are used to working together, will gain key advantages from this new direction. “Our customers will benefit from an even faster and more convenient invoicing process,” said Dr. Trötscher.
